STRATEGIC PROJECTS
Since 2003, NET Engineering has developed strategic international projects, particularly in Europe and in the bordering Countries. These projects address multi-sectorial issues, such as the development and promotion of sustainable transport planning and policies for all transport modes (passenger and freight), at various spatial levels (from urban agglomerations to international corridors), assessing the relative impacts on the environment, society, economy, etc..
These activities are becoming increasingly strategic both for NET Engineering and its customers.
The full range of NET Engineering operating units are directly involved in these projects, thus guaranteeing a genuine multi-disciplinary approach.
Noteworthy international funding programmes include the Research and Development Framework Programmes of the European Union, European Regional Development Funds, the 'Intelligent Energy - Europe' Programme for the reduction of energy consumption and the European LIFE Programme for the reduction of environmental pollution.
