NET Engineering

This year PadovaFiere has focused its attention for two days on the third edition of Padova Smau Business, the Event that awards a prize to technological innovations for business. The protagonist of this happening has been that "Made in Italy excellence", that bets on research and on technology to emerge from the crisis, leaded by the North-eastern regions. NET Engineering was qualified among the finalists for "Innovation Award" (ICT), since the Company started a project for an Enterprise Information Portal (EIP), developed through open source technologies, that brought excellent results in the "Web 2.0" category. The project consists in a new common portal, through which all the companies belonging to NET Group, though located in different countries, can accede to a common database of project references using web technologies. Through this system, experiences and references of each company and business opportunities in different markets are shared, promoting different professional skills and optimizing resources and working methods. Through this new portal, NET Engineering was able to achieve, among other opportunities, an accurate mapping of its human resources, in order to maximize experience and expertise of NET Group’s technicians and professionals and to share a common corporate culture.
